About Me

I am Michael and this is my life story. You probably don't care enough about me to read this, but I feel like typing it anyway.

I was born on Nov. 17, 1988 in Wyandotte General Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan. My family lived in Monroe at the time, but that's where my sister was born the previous year, and my mom wanted the same doctor. When I was 3 or so, we moved to Wyandotte into the house the grandparents previously lived in (they moved to Las Vegas). After that, we moved to Tempe, AZ for two years when I was five.

I started Kindergarten a year early, but it ended up making me graduate high school right on schedule. I was in Arizona for Kindergarten through half of the second grade, and believe it or not, I was a big trouble-maker. I actually "beat up" a kid in my class because he was being mean to me. Then we moved back to Monroe where I finished the second grade, third grade and half of the fourth grade at Waterloo Elementary. I had a behavioral problem (remember I said I was a trouble-maker?) so they transferred me to Custer Elementary so I could be in Special Education. But it was for my behavior, not because I was dumb.

After Custer I went to Mason Jr. High for all three years even though I lived in Monroe. I wanted to go to Mason Senior High School because I would have actually been popular, but since I lived in the Monroe District I had to finish my schooling at Monroe High. That's when I was no longer a trouble-maker (after Freshman Year) and was left to fend for myself with the "big dogs", so-to-speak, without really knowing anyone.

While at Monroe High, I was active in the NJROTC for four years, and the National Honor Society for 2 and a half (they "recruit" members halfway through their Sophomore year). I was also in both the French and German Clubs, was almost Vice President of the BPA (Business Professionals of America) like I would have been in the German Club had I voted for myself and not my opponent. I was also in various other clubs and extra-curricular activities.

I took Intro to Mass Media and was on the school's radio station, I took Intro to TV Production and was on a weather and news broadcast. I also took Journalism where I almost became a part of the school newspaper and yearbook (but I'm terrible at interviews, although my work was good).

I graduated in the top 40% of my class with the National Honor Society and a 3.4 Cumulative GPA (just barely missing Cum Laude). After high school I went to the Monroe County Community College for two semesters where I did horribly, and lost eligibility for aid until I complete 11 credit hours out of my own pockets. I am planning on majoring in Political Science so I can teach it at the high school level.

Speaking of politics, I should say that I am rather Liberal, although I call myself a Libertarian (since I'm bent on the theory that less government equals a better government). I voted for Ron Paul in the Michigan Primary on Jan. 15, 2008 with the foreknowledge that he would never make it. Now I am rooting for John McCain (who said that Jay Leno would make a great Vice President with his humor). I would rather see Barack Obama win the White House, but I seriously believe the next president will be a White Male, and you probably realize it too. So why waste my time rooting for someone I know won't win?

Politics aside, I run a MySpace page called the In Hollywood Teen Network. It is a page for teens and socializing, with contests to win Rockstar Energy Drinks and Rockstar Apparel. We are working on getting a forum for our page so the teens on it can socialize more efficiently. If you are a teen (between the ages of 14 and 18) and have a MySpace account, you should check out the page with the link I provided (click on the name).

Well, that's pretty much me in a nutshell. There's more to tell, but there's no need to tell it. If there's anything more you would like to know, or if you have any questions, comments, or other concerns, feel free to drop me a line anytime. I'm on MySpace every day so you will get a speedy response.

Or if you want you can message me on Yahoo Messenger or AIM, although I'm not on them all that much. I only use AIM though, because it came pre-installed on my new laptop:

I also have a Windows Live Messenger account, but I'm rarely on it enough to list it here. But, if you want to add it to your list for any reason, just ask me for it and I will gladly give it to you.

I check my email every day, so you can send me a messaget there anytime, and more often than not you'll receive a same-day response... depending on what time of day you send it.
