What is SocialSplash? SocialSplash is an online community allowing you to communicate with your friends, find new friends, locate your lost friends, share photos, videos, blogs, play games and much more! Is SocialSplash free? Yes. SocialSplash is 100% free and always will be free! What are Splash Points? Splash Points are points that you earn from our website that can later be exchanged for free gifts. Each member of SocialSplash can earn Splash Points by actively using our website. Each day you can earn points by doing simple things like uploading new photos, bloggin, communication with others, and more. What can I get for my Splash Points? Once you have collected enough Splash Points you can exchange them for free gifts at our Splash Store. Each gift has a Splash Points price next to it. If you have enough Splash Points you can buy that gift. We have many cool gifts, check them out in our Splash Store. Do I have to join my college or school network to use SocialSplash? No, you can use SocialSplash without joining your college or school network. How do I change my username, email address or password? You can change your email address and password but you cannot change your username. Your username is what identifies you on SocialSplash. To change your email address or password simply login to your account and click on Edit Profile. There you will find options to change your email address or password. I lost my password. What can I do? We can email your password to your email address. Just go to the login page and click on Forgot Your Password link. How do I invite my friends to join? You can invite your friends to join by sending out an invitation. Login to your account and click on Invite Friends link. There you can enter their email addresses or import them from your email client like (hotmail, gmail, aol, etc). You can also invite them simply by sending them your profile link or just telling them to join. How do I edit my profile? Login to your account and click on Edit Profile. There you will find button links to change your About Me section, your Basic Info, customize your profile layout, profile settings, password, etc. How do I change my profile background/layout? SocialSplash allows you to create your own layout or browse through pre-made layouts. Login to your profile and click on Profile Layouts. Choose to either create your own or browse. You can preview your layout at anytime and if you like the layout you made or picked just click on Save. This will automatically save the layout and update your profile page. How do I make my profile private? Login to your account and click on Edit Profile and then Settings. On your settings page you can make your profile viewable by your friends only or by everyone. How do I make my photos private? Login to your account and click on Edit Profile and then Settings. On your settings page locate Photo Sharing options. You can make your photos public or private. Can I disable profile comments? Yes. Login to your account and click on Edit Profile and then Settings. On your settings page locate Profile Comments options. You can allow comments or disable comments. How to I change my Top Friends order? Login to your SocialSplash account. Below your friends list click on Mange Top Friends. There you simply drag and move your friends and organize them in any order as you wish. ' How do I report abuse? You can report abuse by going to SocialSplash contact page and write to us. Please include members info and link and explain the abuse. You can also flag photos and videos and report them to us. When a SocialSplash member is reported, SocialSplash does not discolse details of the member who reported them. How do i block/un-block members? You can block/un-block a member from contacting you or posting to your profile page by going to their page and in the contact box clicking on Block User. You can view and mange your block list from your profile home page. How do i close my SocialSplash account? You can close your SocialSplash at anytime. Login to your account and click on Settings. Locate a button that says Delete My Account. Confirm that you want to delete your account. Once you submit your request it may take up to 48 hours before your account is deleted from our database. How do i upload photos? To upload a photo login to your account and click on My Photos. There you can create new photo albums and upload photos. Locate a blue button that says Upload Photos. How do i upload videos? To upload a video login to your account and click on My Videos. There you can create new video albums and upload videos. Locate a blue button that says Upload Videos. How do I invite my friends to join? You can invite your friends to join by sending out an invitation. Login to your account and click on Invite Friends link.
