Do you like rap or do you think its just plain crap. I think rap is ok but i like r&b a lot better. What is your opinion?

if i wanted to make a rap song, i could put a beat on in my car or something, have a conversation with somebody, and record it. And waa-laa, spoken words over music, AKA rap.

but R&B is good stuff.

I personally think rap is crap (that's even the name of one of my fave songs, lol). I don't care that much for it.

Rap..sucks. It takes no talent at all. Now metal, that takes talent. Because people actually use instruments like drums, guitars, etc. All rap is, is using fake drums and clapping noises from a computer while someone "sings" and rhymes all of the sentences. My friend also hates rap, he said it's so simple, he made a rap song in like 10 minutes, that's how easy it is. Metal takes talent and time.

I like rap. Its very interesting too. I will admit, some rap music can sound like pure garbage to the average listener. Just like all genres, rap has different styles suitable for the variety of listeners. Rap songs can have pop, country, electronica, rock and r&b vibes. Thats whats great about the music aspect of it. Now, the gramatical skills displayed lately have been very poor. I think theres more great composer on the rap scene than writers. Theres not much passion behind the writing. Its like the new artist are saying any and everything but, one cant complain because they are only catering to the consumers. Now, rap has a trend. It seems like the music is becoming less meaningful. Theres a difference in the rap music youre hearing. Some rap music was recorded to make you party while the rest plays off of your emotions like all music. You have to view it from the inside looking out not the outside looking in....ok, Ive said enough for now maybe Ill just get luck and search for my name and find this later in life or something and carry on...but remember, not all rap is crap. Some rap songs are very entertaining you just have to find it, the market is flooded with leeches and clones.

but i like hip hop and rock a lot more.

Rap is plain crap, not to offend any of you. All it seems to do is create nonsense violence. That's just my opinion though.

i don't mind rap but only the kind that you can actually tell what they are saying.
